I’m Not Waiting Anymore

“What are you waiting for?” I have heard this question asked several times over the last year.

I have heard it while reading The Secret and
The Attractor Factor. I have heard it on the radio as they advertise computer training. And now, yet again today I have heard it, or rather read it, on Denise Robbins Blog: What are you waiting for?
Every time I have heard this question, I wonder, What am I Waiting For? It stops me in my tracks, every time. Yet after pondering this, after bouncing this question around in my head for hours on end, I find that I have no answers.
So, What Am I Waiting For? LIFE
- I’m waiting for life to become easy so I can focus on my writing.
- I’m waiting for an income that would allow me to focus on my writing.
- I’m waiting for the mood to strike me.
- I’m waiting, for something.
- I’m still waiting.
I could give you a laundry list of why I’m still waiting, but then I don’t have all day to write it up and you’d probably be bored anyway.
The perfect number is 3.
I believe that things happen in 3s. So I guess you could say this is the 3rd time I am being asked: “What Are You Waiting For?” So is the universe trying to tell me something because I didn’t listen the first two times?
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. The perfect number is 3. The first time you hear or see something it introduces you to the idea, the second time expands on the idea, and the third time is to make sure you understand the idea.
Well, I think I got the question down. What Am I Waiting For?
Now all I need is the answer.
Here’s to 2010.
Since that is tomorrow, I will won’t be waiting anymore.
- I have the inspiration I need.
- Life is easy.
- Money isn’t an issue.
This is THE YEAR I finish my novel.
See you on the bookshelves!

Go Cynthia! I can't wait to see you on the bookshelves and I hope to join you there. I also need to stop waiting for things to get easier, for the mood to strike, etc. Enough with the waiting, it's time for writing!

Trisha — Let's go girl! We can do it. I know we can.
Denise — thank you. Finding you was one of the best things of '09. I'm really amazed at how well and quickly you have gotten published. I hope it's just that easy for the rest of us
